What it is
BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid sequence derived from a protein found in gastric juice. In animal and cell models it has been studied for its effect on angiogenesis — the formation of new blood vessels — and on growth-factor signaling in connective tissue. Almost all of the published work is preclinical; there is very little controlled human data.
