Lose fat. Keep the engine.
GLP-1 medications work — and used without a plan they take muscle, strength and metabolic rate with the fat. Our metabolic protocols pair medication with protein targets, resistance training guidance and, where indicated, muscle-sparing peptides, so what you lose is the thing you meant to lose.
Who it's for
- Patients who want meaningful fat loss without losing performance
- Anyone with insulin resistance or metabolic syndrome markers
- People who have plateaued on diet and training alone
- Patients coming off GLP-1s who want to hold the result
What's included
- Metabolic and insulin-resistance biomarker panel
- GLP-1 or dual-agonist therapy titrated by a physician
- Muscle-preservation strategy: protein, training and adjunct support
- Body composition tracking, not just scale weight
- Off-ramp planning so results hold after the medication
What changes
- Sustained fat loss with lean mass protected
- Improved insulin sensitivity and lipid profile
- Reduced inflammation and better energy
- A maintenance plan you can actually run

The science behind the conversation.
The names below describe areas of clinical and scientific interest and do not guarantee availability. Elevate Chicago separates physician-supervised treatment from research-use products. A physician determines what, if anything, is appropriate for care after reviewing your history, goals and labs.
Important sourcing & research notice
Hormone therapy is prescription care. Every hormone we prescribe is dispensed through an appropriately licensed compounding pharmacy, and we use FDA-approved medications for their approved indications when applicable. FDA-registered 503B outsourcing facilities may be used when applicable. Pharmacy status, formulations and availability can change as federal and state requirements change.
When a suitable prescription formulation is not legally available through a compounding pharmacy, certain compounds may be offered separately by Elevate Chicago strictly for lawful laboratory or research use. These products are not FDA-approved medications, are not prescribed or dispensed as medical care, and are not intended for human or animal consumption or for the diagnosis, treatment, cure or prevention of disease. Buyers are responsible for using them only for lawful research and for complying with all applicable requirements. Nothing on this page is medical advice or a substitute for a physician evaluation.
Single Regulator (GLP-1) — semaglutide
Semaglutide, listed as Single Regulator (GLP-1) because compounded formulations cannot be marketed under the drug's commercial name. A GLP-1 medication containing an active ingredient also found in FDA-approved products; compounded formulations are not themselves FDA-approved.
Dual Regulator (GLP-1/GIP) — tirzepatide
Tirzepatide, listed as Dual Regulator (GLP-1/GIP) because compounded formulations cannot be marketed under the drug's commercial name. A GIP/GLP-1 medication containing an active ingredient also found in FDA-approved products; compounded formulations are not themselves FDA-approved.

- What is the Metabolic & Weight program?
- GLP-1 medications work — and used without a plan they take muscle, strength and metabolic rate with the fat. Our metabolic protocols pair medication with protein targets, resistance training guidance and, where indicated, muscle-sparing peptides, so what you lose is the thing you meant to lose.
- Who is Metabolic & Weight for?
- It is built for patients who want meaningful fat loss without losing performance; anyone with insulin resistance or metabolic syndrome markers; people who have plateaued on diet and training alone; patients coming off GLP-1s who want to hold the result.
- What is included?
- Metabolic and insulin-resistance biomarker panel; GLP-1 or dual-agonist therapy titrated by a physician; Muscle-preservation strategy: protein, training and adjunct support; Body composition tracking, not just scale weight; Off-ramp planning so results hold after the medication. Everything is delivered virtually — the only in-person step is your blood draw at a Quest patient service center.
- What changes if the protocol is working?
- Sustained fat loss with lean mass protected; Improved insulin sensitivity and lipid profile; Reduced inflammation and better energy; A maintenance plan you can actually run. Progress is measured against your own baseline labs at follow-up, not against an average.
- How do I start, and what does it cost up front?
- A $100 application fee reserves your intake and is credited in full toward your baseline labs. From there it is a Quest draw, a video visit with your clinician, a written protocol, and ongoing monitoring with follow-up panels.
